Dorms

When students come to WalkRight Baptist Bible Institute the dorms become their temporary home. Because of this, we make every effort to be sure students have a comfortable and inviting place to live. Each dorm houses 4-10 students, depending on size, has a private bathroom with either one or two showers, and is just yards away from the main facilities.

Location and Facilities

WalkRight Baptist Bible Institute sits on 640 acres of beautiful, wooded land in Prudenville, Michigan, just minutes from the Houghton Lake area. With its forested areas and rolling countryside, a 20-acre private fishing lake, miles of groomed trails, numerous indoor and outdoor activities, and clean, modern facilities, WalkRight Baptist Bible Institute students will enjoy the unique beauty of northern Michigan.

Dining Hall – The dining hall located in the commons area of campus creates an excellent atmosphere for either buffet-style meals or sit down family-style meals. With seating for 200+ students, meals prove to be a great time to enjoy fellowship with other students and staff each day.

Classrooms – Classes at the WalkRight Baptist Bible Institute take place in a number of fully functional settings around the facilities.

Chapel – The chapel building can seat 250+ students comfortably and has an atmosphere which draws students into the preaching. The chapel building is located right at the heart of campus in the middle of the campus.

Ugly Mug Coffee Shop – For the coffee addict or people who enjoy a nice cold beverage, our fully stocked Ugly Mug Coffee Shop is a great place to enjoy a nice treat, hang out with friends, play games, study or spend time working on homework projects.

Mine Shaft Snack Shop and Retail Store – One of our newer additions to our campus is our Mine Shaft Snack Shop and Retail Store. Located on the lower level of the dining hall, the Mine Shaft is a great place to find snacks, stamps, school shirts or books needed for different seminars.

Health Center – The WalkRight Baptist Bible Institute Health Center is fully functional for students with minor illnesses. For students with major illnesses needing advanced medical attention, there is an urgent care health clinic in the immediate area and a number of hospitals located within 30 minutes.

Fireside Room – Located on the lower level of the dining hall, the lounge is a great place for students to relax, study, play a game, or fellowship with other students.

Game Room – With games like foosball, ping pong, hot shot basketball and the infamous carpetball, our gameroom is an exciting place to make friends and then challenge them to a game and determine who will come out on top.

Gym – Our fully functional gym offers students a riveting environment where they can participate in numerous sports like basketball and volleyball, as well as take time to run or participate in a breakout game of dodgeball or kickball
